Stories are changes in people,
that change people.

The Grizzlies

An isolated community is introduced to an obscure sport. The struggle and camaraderie of the field can temper us for the greatest struggles of life. Discover the true story of a group of Inuit students living amidst the world's highest suicide rate, and being transformed by, of all things, lacrosse.

The Grizzlies is an evolution for Northwood Entertainment. Yes, it’s the first feature I directed. More than that, I feel we’re starting to define a voice for ourselves. It’s kinda the first paragraph in a wonderful new chapter.
— Miranda de Pencier

Humor is the spiciest condiment in the feast of existence. Laugh at your mistakes but learn from them, joke over your troubles but gather strength from them, make a jest of your difficulties but overcome them.
— Lucy Maude Montgomery

A man contemplates his own romantic quandaries as he reflects upon the final five years of the life of his father, who came out as gay following the death of his wife.

We make film & television.
We've been at it since 2005.
We're motivated by stories that reveal humanity.
By imagery that evokes and illuminates.
By voices that move culture.
And places that set the spirit loose.

Lush, sad and perfect: at last, TV gives us an Anne of Green Gables for our times.
